Intro to Sashiko

Sashiko is a very old needleart form of hand sewing from Japan. Originally it was used to extend the life of well-used garments, today it is primarily used to decorate solid fabrics.

You've asked for it and we finally have it on the calendar. Using a Pacific Rim Quilts pattern, Patti will teach machine applique techniques to complete this quilt beautifully using your machine rather than hand-stitching. If you want to work on a smaller project, our shop hop block pattern is a perfect project.

* 5 Day Class Refund Policy: Your place in the class can be held as soon as we have received your payment for the class. Class fees are refundable up to 5 days before the class is scheduled. After that time there are no refunds, sorry there are no exceptions to this policy.  We do understand that sometimes circumstances do not allow a student to give sufficient notice to obtain a refund, if this happens be sure and give us a call, we sometimes have a waiting list for classes and perhaps we can find someone who will take your place so that we can return your class fee. If the class does not meet minimum enrollment 5 days before the class is scheduled then you will be notified and a refund will be issued to you.
